Karpos Sokoli to play in the Supercup final

KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 will play in the Supercup final in Macedonia. The team from Skopje played KK Kumanovo 2009 in the semifinal and won 82-72.

Karpos won the first three quarter and managed to build a 10-point advantage. In the middle of the last quarter Kumanovo managed to close the gap to 4 but Karpos responded and cruised on to take the victory.

Top scorer for the winners was Lamont Mack with 16 points while Uros Duvnjak had 14, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Danilo Mijatovic had 21 points for Kumanovo as Aleksandar Kostoski scored 13.

In the other semifinal MKK Feni Industries lost to the champions MZT Skopje 50-83. MZT did most of its work in the first quarter which was won 31-11 and after that the team had no problems.

Matija Ceskovic had 12 points for Feni while Vukota Pavic added 9.

The final between Karpos Sokoli and MZT will be played on Friday evening.
