Pregame quotes before the Rilski Sportist ? Mega Hypo Leasing semifinal

Rilski Sportist and Mega Hypo Leasing will play in the first semifinal game of Eurohold Balkan League later tonight. Game will tip off at 18.00 o’clock local time in Arena Samokov. Both teams met twice during the season in the preliminary Group B and bulgarians wwere lucky to win two times by one point. However tonight they will face each other in one game elimination semifinal and at the end of it we will have the first qualifier for the big final tomorrow. Here is what both coaches Mihailo Uvalin and Aleksandar Todorov plus team captains Aleksandar Gruev and Strahinja Dragicevic had to say at the pressconference before the game.

Mega Hypo Leasing head coach Mihailo Uvalin:

“We are very happy to be here. This league changed our season. The level was very high, most of the games were very closed. All four teams deserved to find place among the best and qualify for the Final Four. The region of Balkans needed league like that. Regarding the game tonight, we played two games so far in the competition and lost by one point. However that will not reflect on our game plan tonight. The host maybe has some kind of advantage but there is no sure finalists for tomorrow. I hope we will win.”

Rilski Sportist head coach Aleksandar Todorov:

“I believe we have four equal teams in the Final Four. Maybe we are slight favorites because of the home court but in the same time there is lot of pressure on us today.  We beat them twice but tonight game start from 0-0 and we have 40 minutes to prove which team is better one.”

Rilski Sportist team captain Aleksandar Gruev:

“The atmosphere in the team is ok, we have to forget about all games in the past and think just about the game tonight.”

Mega Hypo Leasing team captain Strahinja Dragicevic:

“For us it’s a big success only to be here in the Final Four. Our team is the youngest team in this competition. Regarding Rilski Sportist – they are very good squad and it will be tough game, especially they are playing at home. I just hope we can show our maximum and win the game.”
