       In the first game of the 9th round of EUROHOLD Balkan League in Bucharest, the local side Steaua Turabo manage to overcome OKK Beograd and won the game 92-76. This is second consecutive victory for Steaua in the competition, but Romanian team started the season with 6 losses. After today`s game became clear that OKK lost all their chances to win the group.       The home side was the more active team in begining of the game, and deservedly they led the score 31-26 after the first 10 minutes of play. OKK started the second quarter strong and after 2 successful lay-ups by Dragan Kruscic and Dragan Mitrovic, Serbian team trailed only by 1 point. In the 13th minute OKK even managed to take the lead - 35-37. Three consecutive three-pointers by Papic, Gutoaia and Monty Mack gave a comfortable lead to Steaua at the half.        After the break the team from Bucharest continued to increased their lead, but a 10-2 series by OKK in the last 2 minutes of the third period set the score to 73-61 after 30 minutes on the court. Steaua didn`t drop the lead for a second in the last period, as they slowly made the difference bigger, as the final score after 40 minutes of play was 92-76 in favor of CSA Steaua Turabo.      Dragoslav Papic was Steaua`s key player today. He was the most efficient player in game, as he finished with 21 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Monty Mack nailed 20 for the succes, while the new signing Alan Wiggins Jr. added 14 points and 8 boards in his debut in the Balkan League. Dragan Kruscic scored 19 points for OKK, while Dragan Mitrovic and Nikola Korac ended with 16 each.      In the last round OKK is going to Kavadarci, to meet the local side Feni Industries, while Steaua Turabo is visiting Bulgarian Levski. Both games are on 4 march.
