KB Peja will start its second season in EUROHOLD Balkan League and certainly the team will try to do better. In the last campaign the team just missed out of the playoffs due to worse record in the direct games with other teams. However they showed some good performances and have the platform on which to build on for the new season.   Peja has a new coach in Croatian Borislav Kurtovic who has already been in the team in the past. He will bring his experience to the team and will try to have positive results.   In the backcourt Peja will count a lot on the experience of both Samir Saptahovic, who is the favourite of the home fans, and also newly signed Hrvoje Puljko. Recently the team added Slovenian point guard Jan Mocnik who will have to bring energy on the court and also playing time will receive Arti Hajdari who is one of the good young Kosovo players.   On the wing Peja will count a lot on Drilon Hajrizi who had a very good last season and also on Rron Grapci to come off the bench.   In the frountcourt minutes on position 4 will share Alban Veseli and Gerti Shima but both can also play some position 3. Those players already have experience in the competiton and surely will help their team. At the center position Peja will have American Ephrem Davis and newly signed Montenegrin Radomir Marojevic. For the start of the season they will share that position and will try to collect rebounds and score points under the basket.   Peja is in group A of the competition with the teams of Rilski Sportist, Sutjeska, Teodo and Kumanovo 2009. For sure at the start the goal will be to reach the Top 8 and then depending on results the team will try to go further. Peja will also count a lot on their fans who create a great atmosphere in the gym and for every visiting team is difficult to play there.
