Beroe won a friendly tournament, Peja finished third

BC Beroe won the friendly tournament that was held in Plovdiv. The team from Stara Zagora faced Spartak Pleven in the final and took 89-79 victory.

 

Beroe had a good start and was up by 14 points at the break and then by 20 in the third quarter. Spartak however didn′t give up and closed the gap to only 4 points before The Greens held on.

 

Aaron Jones had 18 points for the win while Tihomir Zhelev and Omari Gudul had 13 apiece.

 

Peja finished third in the same competition after downing the hosts Academic 77-70. The team from Kosovo led for the whole game as the lead reached 26 points in the third quarter. The the home team cut some of its deficit but it was too much in order to try anything,

 

Noah Dahlman had 17 points for Peja as LaMarcus Reed added 16.
