Domestic leagues: Levski Lukoil is through to the final
BC Levski Lukoil will play in the final of Bulgarian league. The Blues defeated Rilski Sportist 85-81 away and thanks to that won the series 3-1. In the battle for the championship they′ll meet Balkan while Rilski will play against Akademik Bultex 99 for the bronze medals.
Levski started better to take an early lead but soon the hosts came back. A 16-2 run for Rilski in the second quarter gave them the lead and then in the second half both sides were scoring and exchanging leads. With the score tied in the final minute Milosevic scored a triple for the visitors and after the hosts were called for a foul, the Montenegrin stepped up and added two free throws which sealed the win.
Bozhidar Avramov was the top scorer for the visitors with 26 points as Stanimir Marinov had 18. Travis Taylor led Rilski with 19 points as Zlatin Georgiev and Derek Wright had 18 apiece.
