Convincing win for Teuta over Bashkimi

KS Teuta recorded its second straight win in the Balkan League. At home in Durres the team hosted KB Bashkimi and was convincing for an 88-64 win. This was the Kosovo side′s second defeat in a row and on November 6th they′ll host Akademik Bultex 99 with the hope to stop that run. A day later Teuta will be in Gevgelija to challenge Kozuv for their first away game.

The match was very even in the first 15 minutes. The teams were exchanging leads and baskets as no one could take any big advantage. The first to do so were the hosts who after a 13-1 run suddenly went up by 11 points. They increased their lead to 13 at the break and after that controlled the game. Teuta never gave any chance to the visitors and after winning the next two quarters, took a big margin victory.

Endrit Hysenagolli was dominant under the basket finishing with 22 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Eric Copes had 17 points as Julian Hamati added 14 while both grabbed 9 rebounds each.

Bashkimi was led by Jordan Capps who had 27 points and 7 rebounds. Alexander Gorski and Michael Martin had 11 points apiece in the game.
