Domestic leagues: Bashkimi defeated in a drama at home

KB Bashkimi suffered a dramatic defeat at home in the 7th round of Kosovo league. The Prizren team hosted Trepca and lost a close game 84-88.

Both teams were very even throughout and the match had to be decided in the final minutes. At the start of the fourth quarter the score was tied and it was the same with 1.30 to play when the visitors made a basket. Until the end Bashkimi didn′t managed to add a single point while with 15 seconds to go Dorris scored a triple for the visitors to put them up by 3. Then Capps went off from long distance and the game was over.

Michael Martin finished as a top scorer for Bashkimi with 28 points. Jordan Capps had 26 and 8 rebounds while Ujkan Karanezi had 12 points.

After seven rounds Bashkimi is currently sitting 5th in the standings with 3 wins and 4 defeats. Z Mobile Prishtina is first with 6-0 record and didn′t play this weekend.
