Bojan Bakic: We are facing opponents which are punishing every mistake

Bojan Bakic′s experience was what stood out in Barsy′s first game in the Balkan League. The guard played well and finished with 19 points and 5 assists but didn′t have enough support. Here is what he had to say after the game was over:

"Congratulation to Academic for the deserved win. We are still shaping ourselves as a team because we had some injury problems. We are coming here after a long trip and two very hard games which affected us. We don′t want to use it as an alibi but for sure the difference wouldn′t have gone to such high numbers. I think the margin at the end was too big but still congratulations to the opponent.

I came to Kazakhstan a month and a half ago and there is a difference between the level of basketball there and in Europe. Everybody in the team however is working hard and they showed maturity by deciding to take part in the competition and give a chance to the local players. 

We are facing opponents which are punishing every mistake we make. The management of the club has the ambitions to raise the level with each year and this is a good start."
