Lubomir Minchev: We are far away from our best form

Beroe remains the only unbeating team after getting its 9th victory in a row. The team defeated Academic Bultex 99 at home and hare is what the head coach Lubomir Minchev had to say:

"This game again showed we are not in a good form. There are a lot of reasons about it. Both physical and playing performances are far away from before. We don′t have to illude ourselves from that win because our opponent had problems as well. The team needs to get out from that situation as we are playing more lethargic, with slower movements. The only thing that I know will take us out from that condition is practicing. Unfortunately our tall players are still not ready for training which is affecting us."

Aleksandar Yanev was one of the top players for Beroe finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Here is what he said following the win:

"We played really bad in the first half, especially in defense. I don′t know why this is happening. We have very important games ahead of us and we can′t get relaxed. We played better in the second half but we are still doing some bad mistakes which we should not do. The two defeats to the bottom teams in Bulgarian league affected our confidence. We are professional players and we have to get out of this situation."
