Derby win paved Blokotehna way to Final 4

Blokotehna completed the Final 4 line-up for season 2018-2019 after big derby game in Gevgelija.

Blokotehna won against Kozuv 89-85 in hard-fought match.

Kozuv tried until the last second, despite the slim chances to advance to the Final 4 before game. They had to win by at least 20 points to savour its hope but at the end they offered superb derby for the derby for the local crowd.

Quite decisive for the end result was the second quarter, which Blokotehna won by 12 points and went into the break with 43:32 lead. They managed to keep upfront until the end despite huge run by Kozuv in the last 3-4 minutes, trying to get the win for the fans.

Now Blokotehna joins Beroe, Academic Bultex 99 and Teuta into the big 4.

Danilo Mijatovic finished with 31 points for the win, new guy Bozo Djumic had 20. Petar Nikolikj scored 18 and Marjan Mladenovikj had double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Devaugntah Williams was topscorer for Kozuv with 18 points, Igor Kesar added 17 and Nikola Karakolev - 15. Aleksandar Sterjov was top rebounder for them with 8 and 12 points.
