Yordan Yankov: I'm happy for our young boys Boyanov and Mihov

Akademik Plovdiv recorded its 5th victory in Group B of Delasport Balkan League and the team is now in a great position to advance to Stage 2. Below you can find the comments of head coach Yordan Yankov following the victory:

"An important victory. Ibаr is a good team with experienced players. The problem with them is that this was their second match in three days. They also have two injuries and are playing wiht seven people. It is difficult to stay fresh in such a cycle. I am glad that our team managed to win and limit them in the individual components. I am very happy for the young boys Mario Boyanov and Krastomir Mihov."

Krastomir Mihov had the best game of his career so far as the 17-year old finished with 13 points. Here is what he said following the win:

"The plan was to play faster and not play at their pace. We managed to follow the coach's instructions.

At this stage we are in a very good position in the tournament with five wins and two losses. I hope to play in the final four again."
