Maccabi Next Urban Haifa added a new player under the basket

Maccabi Next Urban Haifa has made a move on the transfer market in order to fill in a position under the basket. The Israeli side has signed Steve Taylor Jr who will join the team for the upcoming months.

Taylor started the season in Saudi Arabia where he player 13 games for Al Ahly and averaged 18.5 points and 18.8 rebounds. Last season he was a part of Rieti in Italian Serie A2 and was the second best rebounder with 9.1 per game and had 15.3 points per game in 24 matches played. In his career Taylor has played for Dijon in France, Falco in Hungary, Duzce in Turkey and Eurobasket Roma in Italy.

Maccabi is starting its Stage 2 in Delasport Balkan League on Thursday when the team will host Ironi Nahariya in an all-Israeli Group D clash. The team will be hoping that Taylor will be able to step up right away and be able to help in the quest to reach the Final 4.
