Knight returns to Akademik

Akademik Plovdiv has made an important move before the final part of the season. The current Delasport Balkan League runners-up have signed American point guard Daishon Knight who is making a return to the team.

Knight played for Akademik in season 2018/2019 and left very good impressions with his performance before leaving in the middle of the season. Then he played for Mornar in Montenegro, back in Bulgaria for Balkan, in Turkey and New Zealand. The American started the current season in Switzerland playing for Geneva and averaged 12.0 points and 4.7 assists in 9 games.

Knight will soon join his team and will be able to play first game against Levski on March 2nd.
